The causes that set the stage for conflict that is not resolved in a timely manner can: (1) fester and push us to the brink, (2) weaken the stability of our relationships with each other and, (3) plant litigation landmines.

We provide experienced, credentialed mediators to service your mediation needs by facilitating voluntary, confidential, negotiated, win/win settlement agreements between disputants without costly litigation. Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Services
The Medlock Group has experienced EEO Counselor/Investigators that are very adept in EEO Law. They are trained to support your business as consultants when it encounters complaints of discrimination. Our skilled EEO Counselor/Investigators can assist you with resolving your complaints at the informal stage. If the complaint is not resolved at the informal stage our skillful investigators will write a comprehensive, impartial, confidential investigative report of findings.
We also welcome the opportunity to consult with and/or represent individuals that alledge they have been discriminated against. Our consultation with complainants will: (1) educate and inform them on the EEO Laws, the Process and, (2) help complainants properly frame the issues in their complaint.
Certification Training
Basic Mediation Training
This course is designed to give students the knowledge, skills, and abilities they need to serve as a third party neutral mediator. Our training and evaluative methods include reading, lectures, videos, role play, and assignments.

Practice of Mediator's Role
The Medlock Group 40-hr Basic Mediation training course is a hybrid course that combines both classroom and distant learning. Students will be provided with 20 hours of classroom training, and 20 hours of distance learning, including practicum.
The practicum program is designed to provide our students with a minimum of three (3) practice mediations that include a combination of observations, co-mediations, and solo mediations. Our student trainees are debriefed after each mediation experience with an experienced mediator and/or staff member. At least one solo mediation will be observed by an experienced mediator.
After of our mediation training all participants are provided with a Certificate of Completion. Also, our basic mediation training course meets the standards of Chapter 154, of the Texas Civil Practices & Remedies Code, which is most nearly the same nationwide.
Conflict Resolution Training (CRT)
We facilitate numerous workshops designed to teach children, youth, and community organizations, conflict resolution strategies. How? I'm glad you asked! We utilize our experience and expertise as Educators, EEO Specialists and Mediators to work with schools, churches, juvenile courts, community and youth serving organizations, to help reduce violence, and teach young people conflict resolution strategies. These strategies will give children and youth the knowledge, skills, and abilities they need to get along rather than get even.
Compliance Training
EEO Counselor/Investigator Refresher Training
The Medlock Group EEO training programs are geared specifically for EEO Professionals in the federal sectors. EEO Professionals with the state, private sectors, representatives, attorneys, mediators, and anyone else involved with EEO issues will also benefit from our EEO training programs.
Our training includes: (1) EEO Counselor Refresher Training, (2) EEO Investigator Refresher Training, (3) EEO Training for New Counselors, and (4) EEO Training for New Investigators. Active EEO Counselor/ Investigators will participate in a one-day refresher course, while new couselors and investigators will receive four and one half days of training.
Our courses fulfill the requirements of EEOC Management Directive 110, which established guidelines for the training of EEO counselors and investigators.
